Jaipur, September 9: Leading up to the launch of their movie ‘Khoobsurat’ on September 19, lead protagonists Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan attended a press conference at the Amrapali store in Panch Batti, Jaipur for their promotions yesterday.
While at the store, Sonam planted a tree for Dainik Bhaskar’s initiative ‘Ek Ped, Ek Zindagi’ initiative with Mr. Rajiv Arora, the Co-Founder of Amrapali, at their store entrance.
Personally, Sonam is known to be a huge fan of the brand and has sported Amrapali creations on several occasions. During her visit, she was also seen trying on jewellery in the company of Tarang Arora – Creative Director & CEO and Akanksha Arora, Designer & CEO of the brand.
Her latest venture ‘Khoobsurat’ too, will have her wearing plenty of Amrapali jewellery with a blend of fine jewellery, silver, tribal and ‘Manish Arora for Amrapali’ collections based on the styling of her character.
Apart from Sonam; Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak and Aditi Rao Hydari are also sporting Amrapali in the movie.
Khoobsurat is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film, directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor Anil Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur also starring Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak and Aamir Raza Hussain.
