The Punjabi kudi seems to have caught the fancy of Telugu film industry and is considered for the role of female lead in Kick sequel
Five years ago, Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz floored the audience with the highly entertaining action comedy Kick, which paved the way for more films in the similar genre. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that 2014 has been year of Kick with Salman Khan‘s film breaking all box office records and producer Kalyan Ram planning for a sequel to 2009 Telugu blockbuster Kick.
While it is confirmed that Kick 2 starring Ravi Teja would be helmed by director Surender Reddy, there was a question mark as to who would be his lady love in the sequel. A little birdie tells us that Tollywood’s latest sensation Rakul Preet Singh is being considered for the part as the makers were impressed with her performance in Venkatadri Express.
Rakul Preet is enjoying the attention which she is getting in the Telugu film industry as she has her hands full with films like Pandaga Chesko, Current Theega, Loukyam and Rough in the pipeline. Would the Punjabi stunner extend her golden run in Tollywood by bagging the coveted role of the female lead in Kick 2? Only time will tell.
