The entire team of Happy New Year, including Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah attended the film’s music launch held at the YRF Studios in Mumbai, on Monday, September 15.
It was a lavish affair. Singers Sukhvinder Singh, Neeti Mohan, Kanika Kapoor and Dr Zeus performed on stage songs from the film. The stars too danced to the tune of Indiawaale song from the film.
Director Farah Khan was also present at the event.
Shahrukh Khan seemed in a very happy mood. While interacting with the media he said, there is a feeling of happiness when the entire team come together. Hence, such a grand launch. We had seen a similar grand affair during the unvieling of the trailer too. SRK added, “Let me honestly tell you, we 15-20 people are really sad because now the film is leaving us. So it is just the celebration of what we have done for two years.”
