Cleavage controversy: Fans support Deepika Padukone’s point of view, not TOI’s!

Our readers have given the verdict, Deepika comes out victorious

After Deepika Padukone slammed India’s supposed ‘leading daily’, Times of India, with an open letter on the cleavage controversy, the newspaper shocked everyone with an article titled, Our Point of View, on the front page of Bombay Times supplement (September 22), justifying their act.

Though we had declared that we strongly support Ms Padukone, we wanted to know whose point of view our readers supported, Deepika’s or TOI’s? Well, we aren’t surprised that majority of our voters have given their judgment in favour of the Happy New Year actress.

While 36 percent of our readers voted in favour of Times of India, 64 percent have backed DP.

Multiple opinions have been raised on this controversy in the last few days, we, however, believe that the problem didn’t lie with the cleavage photo as much it did with TOI’s attitude towards the whole issue.
