Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have never shared a friendly bond. Yes, they did come together on Koffee with Karan a few years ago, but that was it. After that they never crossed each others paths.
The latest season of Koffee With Karan saw Sonam take a potshot on Deepika, saying she doesn’t have a style of her own and that all credit for Deepy’s fashion should be given to Anaita Shroff Adajania, Deepika’s stylist. She did not end there. She went on to say that Deepika has an over-enthusiastic PR team working for her.
However, Sonam says that she was misunderstood. She clarifies that, she was not putting down Deepika, instead she was complimenting her stylist, Anaita Shroff, who she shares a great rapport with. “I just said Anaita does a great job with Deepika:, Sonam said. “It was perhaps her PR guys who didn’t appreciate the compliment and talked about it negatively,” she added.
