Kick is raking big moolah not only nationally, but also in the international arena
Salman Khan’s recently released film, Kick opposite Jacqueline Fernandez is not only going rock steady at the domestic windows, but also at the overseas box office. The Sajid Nadiadwala directorial has made about $ 8.3 million (₹ 50.49 crore) in the International arena.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Kick Overseas total: $ 8.3 million [₹ 50.49 cr].”
However, Kick has still not made it to the Top 10 Overseas Collections’ list, which includes films like (from 1 to 10) – Dhoom 3, 3 Idiots, My Name is Khan, Chennai Express, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Don 2, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ek Tha Tiger and Om Shanti Om.
However, if Kick continues to go at this pace then it will definitely whiz ahead of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Om Shanti Om. Will it or will it not is yet to be seen.
As far as the Indian box office is concerned, Kick, which also stars Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles has collected approximately ₹ 10.62 crore on its ninth day. The film now stands with a total of ₹ 183.93 crore at the domestic box office and will soon enter the coveted ₹ 200 crore club.
