Arbaaz Khan made his debut at the age of 29 in the film Daraar in a negative role. After receiving much accolades for his performance, Arbaaz’s next big hit came with the film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya in which the actor played a parallel lead to his brother Salman Khan, who was already an established star back then.
Arbaaz’s journey as actor was not very great. In all honesty, Arbaaz didn’t come across as a great actor who could carry off a lead role. Thus, one film after the other, he went on to do multistarrers or films where he was just a supporting character.
It was in the year 1993 that some beautiful happened in Arbaaz Khan’s life. Right when he was beginning to start a career in acting, he met the gorgeous Malaika Arora Khan on the sets of an advertisement. Cupid struck and the two became insepearble. Five years of courtship later, Arbaaz and Malaika went on to tie the knot. Now they have a cute ten year old son named Arhaan.
Slowly Arbaaz began withdrawing himself from acting in lengthy roles and began taking up cameos and guest appearances. Some films in which he did a cameo are Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Bhagam Bhag, Jai Veeru etc. He made sure although his screen time is less, his performance was powerful.
The next best thing that happened in his life was in the year 2010. The film that had taken the industry by a storm, making crores and breaking records was his productional and directional debut. The film was Dabangg staring his brother Salman Khan and featuring his wife in an item song. The success of Dabangg elevated him to higher grounds and made him a successful director. He came up with this sequel of the film and that, too, made crazy moolah.
Arbaaz Khan had struck the right chord and had found his cup of tea. He is now looking at newer projects and is basking in the glory of his films Dabangg and Dabangg 2.
Bollywood Celebden wishes Arbaaz Khan a very happy birthday and great success in all of his future endeavors.
