Siddarth’s tweet irks Tamil Film Producers Council

The actor’s recent venting of frustration on Twitter has not gone down well with the producers council

Rang De Basanti star Siddharth is known for his sudden outbursts in social media. So when the frustrated actor took on his film Jigarthanda‘s producer for postponing the film without consulting him or director, little did he know that his tweets will spark a row. A little birdie has chirped that apparently the Tamil Film Producers Council is not happy with the star’s ranting against the producer. The council has told Siddharth that it is the producer’s decision as to when he wishes to release the film and strictly adviced Boys actor to refrain from condemning the makers for film’s delay.

A source close to the council told that,” An actor gets paid for his work and once he gets it, he should not interfere in film’ release. The power of releasing the film at appropriate time lies with the producer and not the actor.”

The issue came to the fore when Siddharth had blamed producer Kathiresan for postponing the film’s release after consulting with Dhanush, in order to avoid clash with VIP . Wethinks though actor’s anger is valid, he should keep his feelings in tight leash instead of complaining on social media.
