It is not a fact unknown that that Bollywood is good at aping Hollywood. From adapting their scripts to copying their tunes, Bollywood has done it all. This time there was something else that caught our attention. Some of Bollywood’s movie posters looks similar to the ones made in Hollywood although the film and the story are poles apart. We’re surprised that the poster of such a cool film like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara could actually be a rip off of Lords of Dogtown. Very similar, indeed!
HULCHUL & MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING
Hulchul and My Big Fat Greek Wedding have the same posters except for the fact that in the former one, the bride is wearing a lehenga and while in the latter, it is a gown.
ROWDY RATHORE & REPLACEMENT KILLERS
Akhay Kumar holding Sonakshi Sinha with a revolver in hand in a Rowdy Rathore poster is very similar to the poster of the film Replacement Killers
RA.ONE & BATMAN RETURNS
Both the stories are about super heroes saving their beloved and walking out of danger. Ra.One‘s movie poster looks very much aped from Batman Returns.
SHORTCUT & STUDENT OF THE YEAR
Well in this one, Bollywood apes Bollywood!! The poster of Student Of The Year seems to have drawn inspiration from another older Bollywood film ShortCut.
EK VILLAIN & STEP UP
The latest poster of Ek Villain starring Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor is similar to the best dance series Step Up.
