Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7: Why is Akshat Singh called Chhota Bheem?

The youngest contestant of the dance reality show has got a new nickname

As soon as Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 wraps up, Colors will launch the new season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa . The contestants have already begun rehearsing for the show.

Last year, India’s Got Talent (IGT) winners Sonali and Sumanth were the youngest dancers on the show. This year, we have another IGT wonder, Akshat Singh participating in JDJ 7.

We just heard that the young star is apparently called Chhota Bheem in the Jhalak house. “Yes, I am called Jhalakpur’s Chhota Bheem. Mainly ‘coz I eat a lot of food, especially chicken. But I love it,” said Akshat.

The junior Dabangg star is having a ball of a time on the sets of Jhalak. His choreographers apparently instructed him to eat as much as he wants, provided he doesn’t stop dancing. “Main yahan puri India ko dikhane aaye hoon ki apna dabdaba bana rehna chahiye (I have come to the show, so that India feels my presence).”
