Varun Dhawan: It’s a privilege working with Daddy Dhawan

Varun Dhawan, who has worked with his father David Dhawan for the first time in the upcoming film Main Tera Hero, says it’s a privilege working with him.

“It was a privilege working with David Dhawan even though dad does raise the bar. He’s worked with seasoned actors like Salman bhai (Khan) and Chi Chi bhaiya (Govinda) in the past and would often forget that this was only my second film. Even when there were other actors in the frame, he’d say that the scene depended on me. Fortunately, I thrive under pressure,” says Varun.

When asked about his upcoming projects, he says “You won’t see me for a while until I come out to promote Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania after which I’ll flag off the Any Body Can Dance sequel which will be shot in Vegas and will have another unrecognisable Varun,” he says pointing out that he grew his hair for Humpty Sharma… and sports seven hairstyles as Sreenath Parsad in Main Tera Hero.

Meanwhile, the director David Dhawan has decided to cash in on the popularity of the song Palat from the film and in a first of its kind step, a remix version of the entire song will be shown as a trailer along with Ragini MMS 2

Main Tera Hero is set for a release on April 4th.
