Divya Dutta: I was offered a ticket, but not ready for politics!

The Ragini MMS 2 doctor didn’t mind treating the spirits in the movie, but finds treatment for a healthy society in real life a tougher task

Rakhi Sawant, Kamal R Khan, Kirron Kher and Gul Panag happily picked the ticket to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, but Divya Dutta isn’t ready to enter politics as yet.

Divya Dutta says she was offered a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha polls but she isn’t ready to take the plunge. “I was also offered a seat, but I don’t think I am ready for politics right now. I don’t want to enter politics but my support is with all those who have and I hope they shine in the field,” the 36-year-old said at a press meet.

The 16th Lok Sabha Election will see Hindi filmdom actresses Kirron Kher (Bhartiya Janta Party), Gul Panag (Aam Aadmi Party), Rakhi Sawant (Independent), Naghma (Congress) and Jayapradha (RLD), and many others, contesting.

Divya is active in Hindi as well as Punjabi films. In Bollywood, she is known for her work in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Veer Zaara and Delhi 6.
