Kareena Kapoor was recently awarded Icon of the Year at the AisaVision Awards. She wore a gorgeous saree designed by Vikram Phadnis and teamed it up with a black sequined blouse and statement earrings.
Everything about this woman spells perfection. From her make up, to her choice of clothes, to her jewelry. Even her nail polish is perfect! God!
Not too long ago, Kareena Kapoor was awarded Entertainer of the decade by NDTV and she wore something very similar.
I’m beginning to wonder if she’s setting a trend. Even Deepika Padukone, for that matter wore a cream saree when she was awarded Indian of the Year by CNN-IBN. What’s up with all of them going the traditional way while accepting awards? Is it something to do with their personal style or they are just honored and feel the need to dress in a way which is socially acceptable at large? You never know!
Anyway, another thing I totally fell in love with are Bebo’s earrings! They are to die for and to kill for! At first my guess was Amrapali but then I realized, she had worn something similar while accepting Entertainer of the Decade award. So I went and this is what I found. Those are the exact same pair! These gorgeous pair of earrings are definitely for her personal collection! Could these be her lucky pair? Like the orange spiritual ring that she always wears?
Anddd! I also loved what Kareena Kapoor did to her hair. We were quite honestly bored of her regular hairstyle and these loose wavy beach curls looked pretty cute! All in all, I can give her 8/10 for her entire appearance! The lace at the bottom of the saree is something that I don’t like but that’s the design and there’s very little that she can about that!!
