Rajkummar Rao, who has been on a steady rise in Bollywood ever since his first film Love Sex Aur Dhoka, has always done offbeat films like Ragini MMS, Kai Po Che!, etc. He will now be seen in another offbeat film Queen, which stars the National Award winning actress Kangana Ranaut.
Talking about his experience working with Kangana, he said “It was great working with Kangana. She is really grounded and she is a really sweet person. In this film, she has done a great job.”
“I can say that this film is packed with Kangana’s best performance till date,” he added.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Queen is about a simple girl Rani, played by Kangana Ranaut; who gets dumped by her fiance a few days before her wedding. The film also stars Lisa Haydon and is set for a March 7th release.
