Looks like the year 2014 is the year of break-up for the b-town couples! Not even two months have gone by and we have already seen many celebrities divorce. The latest couple to part ways is Director of blockbuster films, Priyadarshan and his wife Lissy. The reason behind the split is said to be a issue related to CCL celebrity cricket tournament.
Lissy was the owner/manager of Priyadarshan’s team Amma’s Kerala Strikers. It is also being rumoured that controversies stirred up regarding the relationship of Lissy with a young man involved in CCL. Lissy has apparently asked for a huge chunk of Priyadarshan’s property. It is rumoued that Lissy wants 80 crores from Priyan after the divorce as a compensation.
Lissy is believed to be the sole reason behind the success of Priyan’s business and that she is worhty of the Rs 80 crores that she is demanding. She used to handle Priyan’s sound studio Four Frames as well as his cricket team in CCL, Kerla Strikers. Many Southern films and few of the Bollywood films do sound recording and mixing works at Priyan’ studio.
Gosh, we just hope that we wont get to see any further heartbreaks for a while. Else, this year will became a disaster(Pun intended)!
