John Abraham to act in a film based on Nanavati murder case?

As per the latest buzz, John will not play the lead but will also produce the film which will be inspired by the infamous murder case

John Abraham is all set to reprise the role of naval officer KM Nanavati on the big screen. We hear the talented actor will produce the film as well. In fact, Vipul K Rawal, who has written the script of this film, did a thorough research of the subject. Interestingly, Rawal himself comes from a naval background. In that case, we are sure it must have certainly helped him in understanding this murder case better. While talking to a tabloid, a source said, “John is kicked about the film’s story and he wants to play the naval officer, KM Nanavati.” Apparently, the Madras Café actor was approached by for film on the similar lines by another producer. But since John wasn’t too happy with the remuneration offered, he turned down the project.

A little birdie tells us that the B-town hunk has now bought the rights of the film as he really liked the film and wanted to produce it as well. However, rumours are rife that Anurag Kashyap and Soni Razdan are also making a film on this subject. Though there has been no confirmation about the same, looks like Nanavati murder case has caught many filmmakers attention, no?
