Virgin Produced has plans to launch a new Indian division to develop, produce and distribute Bollywood films and even remake Hollywood content to cater to the needs of the Indian audiences.
Jason Felts, Founder and CEO of Virgin Produced revealed that they want to reach out to the younger audiences and wanted to expand their horizons in Bollywood and throughout India. After entering into the arena of Hotels and Mobile phones, Virgin media entered the world of Hollywood with movies like Immortals and Limitless aiming to produce and market films.
While they would be joining hands with Cinema Capital India who recently distributed blockbuster Bollywood films like Dabangg 2 and Krrish 3 for their Indian expansion, they would also be partnering with the Los Angeles based asset management firm Tantrik Group for the same.
