If all goes as planned, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor will be playing Sanjay Dutt in a biopic on the actor’s life, which will be helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Just yesterday, we had told you that Aamir Khan would love to play Sachin Tendulkar on screen. Now, the latest we hear is filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is keen on roping in the Kapoor lad for his biopic on Sanju baba’s life. The film will revolve around the early life of Sanjay Dutt (the drug phase) and other legal troubles the actor has been facing.
Everything is going as planned, only a nod from Sanjay Dutt is what is delaying the film. It is heard, once Dutt is released from prison is when the biopic will go on floors.
We sincerely hope all falls in place as we are eagerly want to see if RK will be able to do full justice to the role.
Meanwhile, RK is geared up for Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos, which sees Katrina Kaif as the female lead. It is heard that Ranbir will be playing a teenager. The actor is losing weight to look like a 18-year-old desi Sherlock Holmes who ages through the film. Jagga Jasoos also stars Alia Bhatt.
Ranbir confirmed the news. He said, “Yes, I am playing an 18-year-old in Jagga Jasoos.” Shooting will start today in a heavily guarded set in a city studio as the makers don’t want the ‘look’ to be out.”
