Punit Malhotra, who made his debut as a filmmaker in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ which also had Sonam Kapoor, has rubbished all reports that the actress was supposed to play the female lead in his upcoming movie ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
“Sonam (Kapoor) was considered for the film is a rumour that started somewhere… She was never officially approached for the film,” Punit told our reporter.
The movie is being produced by Karan Johar, ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. The film will hit the theatres on November 22.
Meanwhile, the sexy actress is currently shooting for her upcoming flick ‘Khoobsurat’, has had her earlobe and cartilage pierced, specially for the movie.
The actress plays a physiotherapist in the film and just like in real life Sonam Kapoor is a stylish diva, the same style will also be seen reflecting in her role in the film. “Getting our ears pierced when we are kids is easy but to have the cartilage pierced is an extremely painful exercise,” she said.
