Punit Malhotra says he is not dating Sonam Kapoor

Director Punit Malhotra who is presently working with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, is all praises for his producer karan Johar. He says, he is very easy to work with and that Karan is an easygoing producer.

“As a producer Karan is lenient enough to give you whatever you want. The advantage is that he is also a director. As far as the space is concerned, he didn’t come on the sets even once. As a producer, he gives you everything you want,” Malhotra told.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is Punit’s second film with Karan, his first being I Hate Love Storys.

Punit says, Kareena-Imran starrer Gori tere Pyaar Mein is a fun film and one would surely enjoy this light film. He is definitely not aiming at the Rs.100-crore marks.

“Rs.100 crore depends on a lot of factors. The canvas of the film leads it to that zone. Ours is definitely not in that zone. It’s a fun film,” said Malhotra.

Meanwhile, the filmmaker who is rumored to be dating Sonam Kapoor, rubbishes all such allegations and says, he never dates his actresses and that Sonam is nothing more than a very good friend.

“No, I did not date any actress. I am saying this on the record,” he said. “It (link-up) is all rubbish. You get up in the morning, see the newspapers, read articles and you find it funny. You wonder what they were wondering while writing this story. There is nothing else that you can do about it,” he added.
