Music Review Of R… Rajkumar

R… Rajkumar is all set to release this December and trailers look just amazing. This is Prabhu Deva’s much awaited project and he has got all his hopes pinned to this one. This film stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.

The music director of the film is the Pritam. Pritam is known to have delivered some fabulous songs in films like Mausam, Kismat Konnection, Jab We Met, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero etc. And this time too we are in for a treat.

The lyrics of the songs are written by Mayur Puri, Ashish Pandit, Neelesh Misra & Anupam Amod and the music labelis of T-Series.

Lets take a look at what R… Rajkumar has in stor for music lovers.

1. Saree Ke Fall Sa: This song is sung by talented singers Nakash and Antara Mitra and is a song that will set your feet tapping. Although Naksh’s singing is considered almost similar to ace singer Udit Narayan, he does a good job to pull off this one.

2. Dhoka Dhadi: This song has raised a lot of eyebrows and critics claim this could be a rip off of a lot of other Bollywood songs. However, the singers of this track Arijit Singh and Palak Muchhal are just beautiful.

3. Mat Maari: Mat Maari is the most funky song of the entire album. Sung beautifully by Kunal Ganjawala and Sunidhi Chauhan, this track can be termed ‘happening’. Sunidhi Chauhan once again steals all the thunder from her male co-singer.

4. Kaddu Katega: Now we finally have an item song in this film. A very raunchy number sung fabulously by Antara Mitra and the lyrics of Ashish Pandit together make a great combination.

5. Gandi Baat: This is the best track of the entire album. A perfect party number cum dance song, this one is bound to garner accolades. Sung by Mika Singh and Kalpana Patowary, Gandi Baat gets a 10/10.

Overall, the music of the film is good enough and we hope the film doesn’t disappoint us. So if you ask what we think is the best then well, its Gandi Baat and Saree Ke Fall Sa.
