The lovely and graceful Manisha Koirala is all set to walk the ramp for city-based designer Maheka Mirpuri’s charity event this evening. This will be Manisha’s first appearance on the ramp after her traumatic journey of surviving cancer.
Manisha Koirala was detected with cancer last year and for the past few months she had undergone treatment for several months in the US and she says she is a stronger woman today.
The event is close to both Manisha and the designer Maheka Mirpuri. In the span of one year, the former lost her father and brother-in-law to cancer. Maheka wants to spread awareness about cancer to as many as possible. This event is being organised in aid of the Tata Memorial Hospital.
Of what is lined up for the evening, we hear that doctors and other medical professionals, cancer survivors etc will be sharing about cancer, its effects and their life stories.
The event also will have some dance performances. Singer Talat Aziz will be there to render some beautiful songs and Simone Singh will be anchoring all through. The finale will be Maheka’s fashion show.
