There were speculations and rumors that Sonakshi Sinha was roped in by Boney Kapoor for his next film, which is a remake of a South Indian film. It has been confirmed that Sinha will be paired opposite Arjun Kapoor and the movie is a remake of the hit Telugu film Okkadu.
The movie will be directed by Amit Sharma, who is making his directorial debut with the film. Though the director is new to films, he made an ad-film for Google, titled Reunion. The newcomer said that he bagged the south remake before the release of his ad film.
The soon-to-be-titled film will be produced by Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor and is scheduled to go on floors in January 2014.
