Zoya Akhtar’s next to be shot on a cruise?

You have to believe us when we say that Zoya Akhtar is an exotic filmmaker. We are saying this because, after exploring parts of Spain through her movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which was about 3 friends going on a wild road trip. Now the director’s next flick which is said to star Priyanka Chopra will be family drama and will be shot on a cruise liner.

The entire movie will be based on a cruise liner, sailing of the coasts of South Africa. Zoya along with her production team has done extensive research in the past two months. She had narrowed down her options for the location of the shoot. However, South Africa was like her only best option logistically. South Africa is also very scenic and the water is clean with varied shades of blue and green.

There are rumours that Farhan Aktar, Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan will star in the film, but the fact is that the team is still in the process of finalizing the cast. As of now, nothing has yet been confirmed but for the fact that the movie is going to have an ensemble cast.

The production team is still deciding on various details to shoot. Zoya will be acquiring fine details during her recce to incorporate them in her next project so as to provide the finest results.

The movie is expected goes on floors by mid-April 2014. With a rumoured star-studded cast, we can only expect the movie to be even bigger and better than Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara!
