Siddhanth Kapoor trains with Zaheer Khan for his role in ‘Kirkit’

Bejoy Nambiar has casted Siddhanth Kapoor, son of Shakti Kapoor in his next flick. Siddharth who made his Bollywood debut in John Abraham’s film Shootout at Wadal is all set for his next venture. The film titled ‘Kirkit’ is supposedly a sports comedy where-in Siddhanth will be playing to lead role of a cricketer.

What took us back was Siddhanth’s commitment towards the film. Apparently, to get in shape for his role, he trained along with Indian pacer Zaheer Khan!

“I practiced for about a year with Zaheer as he’s a good friend of mine. We used to play for NCC club at Oval Maidan in Mumbai where he gave me several bowling tips. I am really excited about this film because it’s a youth-centric movie. It’s a remake of the Tamil hit Chennai 600028 which was about street cricket,” says Siddhanth Kapoor.

Directed by Yazad Anklesaria, the film will be co-produced by Bejoy and DAR Motion Pictures.
