Shahid Kapoor is extremely modest and doesn’t like to brag

Shahid Kapoor for the first time joined hands with Pradhu Deva to work on his directorial venture, ‘R…Rajkumar’. Shahid Kapoor says that Prabhu Deva is the ‘masala king’ of movies and has directed few great movies like ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Wanted’.

“I hope I have been able to fulfil what Prabhu (Prabhudheva) has expected from me. It was an honour to work with him. He is the mawali (rowdy) and the masala king,” Shahid was reported at the trailer launch of his upcoming movie ‘R…Rajkumar’ on Tuesday.

Being the obedient actor, he says he had to nothing difficult and just follow the instructions of Prabhu dheva’s. He said, “I have copied what Prabhu was doing and I have only followed him throughout the film. There was too much of action, so it was tiring. But I had a great time shooting,” .

Though his work was just to follow the instructions, he found it quite challenging cause those instruction weren’t easy specially when it came to moving those amazing legs of his and dancing to the tunes of dancing mastero Prabhu Deva. He said, “I used to think I am a great dancer, but when I danced with him I realised I am still a struggler,”

Shahid Kapoor who is a trained dancer is the male lead of ‘R…Rajkumar’. The movie features Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead and is set for a December 6 release.
