Sanjay Leela Bhansali admires Deepika and Ranveer’s hard work!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali isn’t the type that who would randomly shower you with compliments. He is the type who barely acknowledges your existence and even a little compliment coming from him can be legally counted as an accolade. He loved Deepika and Ranveer’s passion (for their work of course) and their commitment (again towards their work).

Not only did Sanjay Leela Bhansali direct Ram Leela, he also composed the music. The soundtrack of Ram Leela boasts of 10 songs which will blow your mind away. From Ram Chahe Leela to Tatad Tatad, every song has been composed by Sanjay and he enjoyed every bit of it. In an recent interview with a popular tabloid, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was grilled about the music, the composition, his influences, the lyricist, the number of songs, the balance between being a composer and a director and a very interesting question in the end!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali was asked to choose sides between Deepika and Aishwarya!! Exciting right? But no juicy answer came out since Sanjay Leela Bhansali is always politically correct. He said, “That’s a trick question. Deepika is outstanding. She is as gorgeous and disciplined as Aishwarya. Deepika has a very sharp mind. When she talks she talks sense. Deepika is playing a character named after my mother. She is a special way beyond anything anyone can expect from her. But I’ll tell you something. Aishwarya is very special as a friend, actress and dancer.” We wish you would make a nice statement and choose a girl Sanjay!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a man who get what he wants and how he want. Now, he was asked if the actors justified their work and id they did out in the right amount of efforts in the song. Now is the time for some compliments for Deepika and Ranveer and even Priyanka Chopra. He says “They gave all of themselves to the music, became a part of the sound and danced like a dream. Before shooting for the song ‘Tatad Tatad’ he would be listening only to Govinda and Anil Kapoor songs. There would be laughter joy and music on the sets all the time. Of course there were times when I’d suddenly change the steps and Ranveer and Deepika would be thrown completely off-course. I don’t like to rehearse too much for my song picturisation. How brilliantly the two adapted to my style. Deepika got blisters and wounds on her feet during the Garba song. Still she’d say, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ When Priyanka Chopra shot her song she said, ‘Good we rehearsed for two days because when we shot the song we didn’t use a single step from the rehearsals.” Now this seems like fun! But then, who would put in the hard work like Deepika did? Blisters on your feet and you still want to dance? I’d say No Way!

About the other things, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has a very diplomatic and politically correct view. When asked how would he maintain a balance between his love for composing music and directing movies, he said it required a lot of pre planning. Like we didn’t know that already. Everything needs planning Sanjay! He finishes composing the music and then starts shooting for the film. Well, whatever your technique is Sanjay, we can’t wait for Ram Leela to release and wish you all the luck in the world! Even though we know that you don’t really need it!
