Guess who is all in love with babies? It’s the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who has expressed his desire to not just have a family, but also wants to become a father to a baby girl. The actor himself said that is he ever becomes a father, he would love to have a baby girl. Salman Khan who took part in ‘Girl Child, Women Empowerment’, which was for a social cause, said, “If I ever have a child.. Insh’allah I will… I wish its a girl. I want a girl child”. Salman Khan has always been against foeticide and said that if the people of India go on killing female kids, a day will soon arrive when there won’t be any girl left for marriage. (i.e a world full of only males!)
“How can you kill a child even before its birth… Its not about awareness, its about your mentality. If you kill the girl child, eventually there will be no mothers and sisters and guys will have no women to marry. Women play a huge role in our lives,” Salman Khan told in the interview.
If rumors are to be believed, the superstar will be meeting Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, who is India to create awareness on issues such as female infanticide, girl child and women empowerment.
