Ranbir Kapoor, who was last seen in the movie Besharam, reportedly charged a whopping Rs. 20 crores for the movie. This tidbit of information was in the news a couple of weeks ago.
Commenting on his finances being discussed in the media, the Kapoor kid said “Nothing disturbs me. It’s the reporter’s job to ask questions and it’s my job to answer in the best way. Money is something which should not be discussed. It’s personal and many people have their own takes. I read an article recently that I charged Rs 20 crore for my last film Besharam and it’s embarrassing sometimes. You don’t want to talk about your finances. It’s very personal.”
The movie starred Ranbir Kapoor and his parents Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor. Though the movie bombed at the box-office, Ranbir is undeterred and he says he will continue working in movies the same way.
“I can only wait for my next release after every film. Whether it’s a hit or a flop, I approach my film in the same way. I will continue to do so. How much a flop or a hit matters, I don’t know. My parents have been acting for more than 30 years. They are happy that we worked together,” he said.
