Bollywood filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma has recently recieved a death threat and fearing this he has got himseld a tight security team. Police have provided him with security at the office and residenceof Ram Gopal Varma after he recieved a threat. However, the police prefered to remain silent about details like who threatened him and what sort of threat was issued to him.
“On the basis of an intercepted conversation, the Mumbai police gave me security for various reasons. I cannot divulge the content of the threat. For some important reasons, I cannot comment on whether or not this threat to me is related to the content of Satya 2,” Varma posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
When we contacted the Additional Police Commissioner (West Region) Vishwas Nagare Patil, he said “I would not be displaying professionalism if I talk about somebody receiving a threat. I would not like to comment anything on the matter”.
Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya 2, which was originally scheduled to release today, Oct 25th bu got postponed to November 8. Satya 2 is crime based movie which is a sewuel to the earlier blockbuster movie ‘Satya’. The film revolves around the story of of a guy named Satya, an immigrant who comes to Mumbai aiming to shake the underworld of Mumbai. Do come back for more update on Satya 2 and RGV.
