Ram Leela is one of the most awaited flicks of this year and it was reported earlier that Kareena Kapoor was the initial choice for the role of Leela. Bebo refused to do the film for reasons best known to her and subsequently, the role was played by Deepika Padukone.
In a recent interview, the actress was asked whether she regrets not doing the film and she said she doesn’t regret it. Also, there were rumors that Sanjay Leela Bhansali didn’t want a married Leela for his film and consequently, Kareena was replaced by Deepika. Talking about this, Kareena said none of that is true.
“Bhansali told me that he had no€™t said that. He told my friend, not me. Pyaar karna aur shaadi karna kya paap hai? Right now, my priority is Karan Johar’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and Shuddhi,” Kareena Kapoor told the leading daily.
