Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai was started in 2009 and since then, it has been garnering a lot of international recognition. In fact, the hospital and its infrastructure are going to be featured on National Geographic Channel’s popular show Inside. Amitabh Bachchan is to narrate the show which airs on October 20th at 9pm.
Tina Ambani, who is driven by a dream to transform how India views healthcare, says “Mr Bachchan was there for our opening and it is an honour for us to have him do the narration.”
“Indians deserve the best healthcare they can get. And we intend to provide it to them,” says the woman who is the soul behind the hospital. “This hospital has been a labour of love and it wouldn’t have been possible without such a committed team,”.
Tina Ambani has dedicated herself to conceptualizing, establishing and now taking care of the hospital; which she has been working on for the last 5 years. She is probably ecstatic as the world will get to watch the hospital now.
