Abhay Deol talks about his first production venture ‘One By Two’

Abhay Deol who has made a mark in the world of Bollywood by taking a different route is now looking for some new adventrue. The first in this directoin is hes debut production ‘One By two’. Dreaming of turning into a producer for quite some time now, he is still not able to believe that his first production venture will release as soon as February 2013.

The film is very special for Abhay Deol since it feaatures his present girl friend Preeti Desai in the female lead. We wonder how comfortable it was for the new producer to behave on sets and as a boyfirend at home. Abhay Deol on this said, “Well, whatever I have to tell Preeti, I do it on the film’s sets,” Abhay smiles, “See, I am very critical of performances; this is the way I am. When I have some feedback for Preeti, I do give her there and then. She is also mature enough to be taking it all in her stride. She has worked hard on the film and given her 110%.”

According to the buzz in town, the film is said to be a rom-com affair with heavy dosage of music in it. Smiles Abhay, “Well, I won’t say it is a true-blue romcom but yes, it is a light hearted film. It is spun in a way that ‘Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara’ was, though obviously it was a much bigger film. ONE BY TWO is rooted into reality in just the way I like it. Yes, it is a full on musical. We have seven songs with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. In fact we have already shot the film and currently in the editing stage. We are working on the background score and a call would be taken soon on when we release the film.”
