When love happened!
It was love at first sight for Shahrukh in 1984, when he first saw Gauri at a party. But for her, it took quite a lot of persuasion to reciprocate the same feelings.
THE WEDDING
Nevertheless, once that happened, there was no turning back for the both of them. Agree, there were ups and downs, but like they say, love always wins, Shahrukh and Gauri tied the knot in 1991, a time when Shahrukh was a nobody, Gauri stayed strong and became his pillar of strength.
Gauri, his lucky charm
He was a struggling actor till Deewana happened in 1992, and thereafter, career wise too, there was no turning back for SRK. He won the filmfare best male debut award that year. After a series of flops and avarage film, Khan made the unique choice against all advice to opt for villainous roles, and that’s when Darr and Baazigar happened, both being massive hits. Then there was the epic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995, and the latest is his blockbuster, super hit flick Chennai Express, which has sealed his position at no. 1, Bollywood’s baadshah indeed. Meanwhile, Gauri continues to play his backbone throughout these years, in success and failure.
Their bundle of joy
Come 1997, Shahrukh and Gauri had their first kid, Aryan Khan, and after two years, in 2000, Suhana was born. With the birth of two kids, the couple’s love for each other only increased. Also, Shahrukh once quoted, “My wife and kids are the only people I can show my frailties to. The only people I can be happy, open, honest, shameless and egoless with are my children. They take care of me in the nicest way.”
Mannat or Jannat
A clear reflection of Shahrukh’s flamboyant and Gauri’s classy lifestyle, the duo purchased their first home, Mannat in 2001, a 6 storey high sea facing marvel located at Bandstand in Mumbai. Besides this heaven like home, they also own 20 million pounds apartment in Central London in the Park Lane area and a lavish home worth Rs. 200 crores in Dubai.
Red Chillies Entertainment
In 2004, Shahrukh and Gauri came out with their production house, Red Chillies Entertainment with wife Gauri being the co-founder. Together they has produced 9 films so far. Khan and his wife are also proud owners of an IPL cricket team known as Kolkata Knight Riders which was bought by him in partnership with Indian actress Juhi Chalwa $ 75.09 million.

The couple appeared together in a television and print commercial for the home furnishings brand, D’decor, in 2008.

2009 saw Shahrukh and Gauri walk the ramp for filmmaker turned fashion designer Karan Johar at the HDIL India Couture Week.
Trouble in SRK-Gauri’s paradise
After being loyal to his wife for over 20 years, Shahrukh Khan is reportedly seeing Priyanka Chopra and they are quite an item. Well, there were headlines in almost every leading daily in 2011, post the release of Don 2. Everyone was shocked and angry with SRK, but not Gauri. These rumors didn’t affect their marriage one bit.
Celebrating their love with their third kid
AbRam, Shahrukh and Gauri’s third baby, made a splashing entry in May this year. The couple are very protective about their little prince and have promised to keep his baby away from the public.
