Producer Jayantilal Gada, who is producing the animated film Mahabharat has roped in stars like Manoj Bajpayee, Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Anil Kapoor to lend their voices for the characters in the epic.
According to him, Amitabh Bachchan, the Big B will voice the Big B (Bheeshma) in the epic. Vidya Balan is voicing Draupadi, Ajay Devgn is voicing Arjuna, Manoj Bajpayee is voicing Yudhishtir, Sunny Deol is Bheema and Anil Kapoor is Karna.
Sources say Anil Kapoor took 15 days to finish his part while Manoj Bajpayee did it in 4 days. “Both Anil and Manoj have shown full commitment. It was very gracious on their part to agree to impart voices to two very important characters in my film,” the producer said. They are still on the lookout for a voice for Duryodhana’s character.
The movie is scheduled to release this Diwali. Now this seems to clash with the big release of Krrish 3. When asked about it, the producer says “No, we are not going to clash with Hrithik Roshan’s film, we will release a week before or later, but in the festive season.”
