Eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi for Salman

Every year Salman Khan and his family welcome a Ganesha idol at his Bandra residence, during the festive season and Ganesha graces the Khan houese for a day and a half. As Ganesh Chaturthi (Ganesh festival) is nearing, the actor is ensuring that this year the idol he gets home is eco-friendly.
This time around, Salman will also urge people to go green with a series of ‘Being Human’ T-shirts that will have messages, urging people to bring home eco-friendly Ganeshas.
A source revealed that Salman wants to make people aware that it is easy to go green. He wants to incorporate his slogans and ideas into his ‘Being Human’ line of T-shirts. This is the first time that the actor is actually advocating a cause he believes in, as he feels that the Ganpati festival is a great time to raise the issue to do his bit for the environment.
And apart from distributing T-shirts, he also plans to touch upon the subject whenever he travels for the promotion of his upcoming flick ‘Bodyguard’.
