The music of the film is composed by Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Ashish Pandit, Neelesh Misra and Kumaar. It was launched on 25 April 2011 at Filmcity, Goregoan, under the banner of T-Series. Meri Ada Bhi has elements of Mere Laung Gawaacha by Musarrat Nazir in the song, specifically the background music had the verse saying and in dancing areas.
Box office India declared it to be a Blockbuster, while Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama called it an All Time Blockbuster
