Raveena Tandon says ‘NO’ to Anurag Kashyap’s next production venture?

Apparently, the B-town beauty didn’t like the role and therefore rejected Kashyap’s proposal….

Ranveena Tandon, who is making her comeback in Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, was reportedly offered the filmmaker’s next production venture as well. The film is question is titled Return Gift and will be directed by Vikas Bahl. While the BB director wanted Raveena to be a part of it, the latter turned down the offer as she didn’t find didn’t like what was brought on the table. While talking to a lading tabloid, a source said, “Vikas is still working on the script while focusing more on the post production of Shandaar which stars Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor. After the film hits the theatres, he will take start shooting for ‘Return Gift’. Kashyap, in his capacity as the producer, decided to offer a role to Raveena in the film, but she refused as she didn’t like the role.”

Not too long, Ranveena had grabbed headlines when she gave an outrageous statement regarding her not being in Bombay Velvet. The actress was quoted saying, “I am no more a part of Bombay Velvet because everything has changed.”

However, Anil Thadani’s wifey went back on her words and latter wrote on Twitter,”Ok so fed up of misinterpretations of what I said !!! just doing a FRIENDLY APPEARANCE for MADHU and @anuragkashyap72 in Bombay velvet.”

While it is being said that Raveena didn’t like the role, maybe she said no to Kashyap because their equation is no longer the same. Who knows… maybe she isn’t happy about how her role has shaped in Bombay Velvet and therefore doesn’t want to work with AK again. Well, our theory could be wrong but then a lot has happened in the recent past which can’t be overlooked, hai na?
