The Aagadu actor refutes rumours of signing a film with Enthiran director
It is beyond any doubt that Mahesh Babu is the hottest property of Tollywood, with whom every filmmaker dreams of working. After Mani Ratnam showed keen interest in casting 1:Nenokkadine star, it was rumoured that ace director Shankar is planning to rope in Mahesh Babu for his next venture.
These speculations started to arise when the Enthiran filmmaker made his presence felt at audio launch of Aagadu. And later when it was disclosed that Mahesh had received an invite to grace the music launch of Shankar’s directorial Ai , the rumour mills started to buzz with the possible collaboration of two stalwarts. But in a recent press meet, Mahesh Babu cleared the air around the rumours by stating,”Shankar was present at the audio launch of Aagadu (Aug 30) as a chief guest. There was no other special reason for his presence. I’m not doing any film with him. As soon as Aagadu comes out, I’ll get busy with my next project.”
When prodded by the media if he would fly to Chennai to attend the audio launch of Ai, the Dookudu actor said,”I won’t be attending the audio launch of Ai as I will be busy due to prior commitments. I wish the team best of luck.” While fans are disappointed as the rumour of Shankar-Mahesh Babu collaboration turned out to be false, wethinks the two should team up soon and mesmerise us with a terrific film!
