The story revolves around five friends who set out in search of Fanny, old Ferdie’s (Naseeruddin Shah) lover. With a bunch of mad characters navigating the sleepy Goan villages, who wouldn’t like to join in the madness? Watch out for: Don Pedro’s (Pankaj Kapur) flirtatious overtures at the widowed mother-in-law Rosie, the Big Bum (Dimple Kapadia).

2. Deepika’s new Goan avatar

She pulled off the Tamil accent in Chennai Express well and now, the leggy beauty goes all Goan. Donning an apron over a strappy dress with a cross necklace thrown around the neck, only Deeps can make an otherwise Plain Jane look cute and sexy.

3. The Naseer-Pankaj jodi

Naseer and Pankaj’s presence is guarantee enough that there’ll be some great acting at display – if nothing else. Pankaj who plays an artist and lover of All Things Big, mouths the funniest one-liners in the film.

4. Homi Adajania, the official bum

Homi Adajani is not a full-time filmmaker. As Deepika Padukone likes to say, “He’s a scuba-diver, ya.” Homi once described himself as an “official bum.” The mad Bawa came into our lives with the dark indie comedy Being Cyrus followed by his big Bollywood outing Cocktail. What can be said about all these films is one thing – there are shades of Homi in each of them. They reflect his languorous ‘life is cool’ sensibility.
