Mahesh Bhatt: Alia Overwhelms you with her performance in Highway

Film-maker Mahesh Bhatt has been bowled over by his daughter Alia Bhatt’s performance in the upcoming film Highway.

“I saw Alia in Highway. Alia overwhelms you with her heartbreaking sincerity. Her journey has begun. This is Alia’s Arth. Highway is a film that will sparkle in Alia’s filmography,” said the film-maker who gave us films like Aashiqui, Arth, etc.

“It is an outstanding film. Imtiaz Ali staggers you with his simplicity. It is bare, harsh and truthful,” he added.

Meanwhile, Alia’s Student Of The Year co-star Siddharth Malhotra conveyed his best wishes to her on Twitter, saying “Must watch my Radha on the Highway tomorrow (Friday), best of luck Alia. Hearing great things, very excited, love and kiss.”

Siddharth Malhotra’s Hasee Toh Phasee co-star Parineeti Chopra also tweeted about it and said “Go go go Alia! Highway is going to be huge and you are going to be the best actress and biggest star ever! Guys don’t miss it.”
