While the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is ready for her Kannada debut, she has been approached by Gautham Menon for his next film
A little birdie tells us that Trisha Krishnan has been approached by Gautham Menon for his upcoming film, which will have Ajith Kumar as the male lead. Trisha has impressed Tamil and Telugu audiences over the years but is currently busy with her Kannada debut. Trisha will be seen opposite power star Puneeth Rajkumar in the untitled Kannada remake of Telugu blockbuster Dookudu. This makes us wonder if it will be Tamil over Kannada for Trisha now that she has been approached for a film opposite Ajith. Or will she continue with Puneeth’s film with the same enthusiasm. Well, only time will tell, and we will wait and watch.
Trisha’s Kannada film’s director Madesh said, “We have zeroed in on Trisha for the leading lady’s role. I have seen her work and since she hasn’t worked in Kannada film industry so far, I was even more interested to cast her. She instantly agreed to be a part of the film when I approached her. I’m hoping that with this role, Trisha will find a strong foothold in Kannada industry as well. Our audiences are quite familiar with Trisha’s work as most of her films from other languages have released here and have been appreciated.”
